What is The Smokehouse Collective?

The Smokehouse Collective is a BBQ catering brand under The Smokehouse Collective Pte Ltd, bringing together BBQ food packages, private chef-on-site services, sharing platters, and cooked food for homes, parties, and corporate events.

We deliver freshly marinated meats, seafood, and sides — and offer private BBQ chefs to grill them for you on-site.

What's the difference between the Smokehouse Series, Themed Packages, and Curated Packages?

Smokehouse Series

  • Our primary and most recommended range. Includes a curated mix of cooked food and raw BBQ food in one package
  • Add specific sharing platters at checkout alongside your Smokehouse Series order
  • Best for: hosts who want a complete, well-rounded BBQ spread
  • Starts from 10 pax

Themed Packages

  • Designed for guests with specific food preferences — beef-focused, seafood-focused, no beef, no pork, and more
  • Best for: parties or events built around a specific cuisine focus or dietary requirement
  • Starts from 10 pax

Curated Packages

  • Flexible sets ideal for smaller groups
  • Best for: smaller gatherings or those who prefer to customise their spread

Which package should I choose?

If you want a complete, all-in spread that covers cooked and raw BBQ food in one order, go for the Smokehouse Series — it's our most recommended range and the easiest way to get a full BBQ going.

If you or your guests have specific preferences — more beef, seafood focus, no pork, no beef — go for a Themed Package. Our Smokehouse Signatures Series sits within this tier for those who want different types of packages.

If you're hosting a smaller group (from 5 pax) or want more flexibility in what you order, the Curated Packages are a good fit.

Can I swap items within a package?

Yes — limited one-for-one swaps are allowed between items of similar value.

For broader customisation, our team can build a Custom Party Menu around your budget and preferences. WhatsApp us to discuss.

Do I need to add BBQ equipment separately?

Yes — BBQ pits, charcoal, fire starters, and disposable equipment are not included in food packages by default.

These are available as separate add-ons to any package or ala-carte order. Browse our BBQ equipment and accessories or add them on at checkout.

🛒 Ordering & Payment

How do I place an order?

You can order directly on our website or via WhatsApp at +65 8885 2545.

How early should I place my order?

Same-day delivery is available for most food orders — order as early in the day as possible to confirm availability.

For chef services or large-scale events, we recommend booking at least 7 days in advance to secure your slot.

If you need to confirm full food availability for a same-day or next-day order, WhatsApp us as early as possible.

Can I amend my order?

Yes, contact us via WhatsApp as soon as possible. Amendments depend on preparation and delivery schedules.

How do I pay?

Payment is via PayNow (UEN 202430028K – The Smokehouse Collective Pte Ltd). Full payment must be received before delivery or chef deployment.

What is your cancellation policy?

Orders may be rescheduled at least 72 hours in advance, subject to availability.

Cancellations made with more than 3 days notice of the scheduled event will incur a 50% cancellation fee. No refunds are provided for cancellations made with less than 3 days notice.

Can I cancel if it rains?

No, as food is already prepared. We can deliver to an alternative sheltered location or your home instead if given prior notice.

🍽 Food, Suppliers & Storage

Who prepares your food?

All food is supplied by licensed third-party food manufacturers, eateries, or ready-to-eat meal providers.

The Smokehouse Collective does not cook or manufacture food directly.

Can I keep leftovers or re-freeze the food?

Raw marinated meats are vacuum-sealed and may last a few days when kept chilled (≤ 4 °C), but should not be re-frozen once thawed. Consume cooked food within 24 hours.

Do you provide cooked or ready-to-eat food?

Yes — our cooked food range includes pasta, sides, and other ready-to-serve dishes. Most cooked food items are delivered in aluminium trays, making them easy to reheat directly at your BBQ.

Note: pizza is delivered in a pizza box and is not suitable for reheating over the grill.

How do I handle food before cooking?

Keep items refrigerated until 1–2 hours before cooking. Avoid leaving raw food out in the open.

Always wash utensils and cook food thoroughly.

Why is my food delivered frozen?

All The Smokehouse Collective food items are delivered frozen or partially frozen to maintain stringent food hygiene standards and comply with temperature-control requirements.

Delivering frozen prevents bacteria growth during transport and ensures the food remains fresh until you cook it.

How should I thaw the food safely?

There are three ways to thaw your food:

  1. Order 1 day in advance and refrigerate overnight (Recommended) — Move sealed packs from freezer to fridge the night before cooking. The most consistent method for even thawing.
  2. Cold water soak — Submerge sealed packs in cold water.
  3. Running tap water — Submerge sealed packs under a running tap in the sink. If you have a BBQ chef booked, they can assist with this — note that defrosting assistance will require extending your chef service time.

Can the food be cooked directly from frozen?

Yes — most The Smokehouse Collective items can be cooked from frozen, especially items like marinated chicken, wings, skewers, satay, fish fillets, sausages, and some seafood.

However:

  • Cooking from frozen may take longer,
  • The texture may differ slightly compared to properly thawed items,
  • Certain items (e.g., steak, ribeye, lamb chops, premium seafood) are best thawed for even cooking.

Can I refreeze the food after thawing?

No, food must be cooked after thawing. Do not re-freeze.

Who is responsible for maintaining food safety after delivery?

Once food has been delivered, the customer is fully responsible for storage, thawing, cooking, and handling.

The Smokehouse Collective cannot be liable for spoilage or safety issues caused by improper thawing or storage after delivery.

🚚 Delivery & Collection

Do you offer same-day delivery?

Yes — same-day delivery is available for most food orders. We're proud to offer this for customers who need an order sorted quickly.

For BBQ chef services or large-scale events, we recommend booking at least 7 days in advance to ensure availability.

WhatsApp us as early as possible or order at least 7 days in advance if you need to confirm full food availability for an order.

Do you deliver island-wide?

Yes, we deliver across Singapore in 1-hour or 2.5-hour slots (10 AM–8 PM).

What are your delivery fees?

  • Complimentary 2.5-Hour Delivery (Standard Delivery) is available for orders exceeding $300, placed at least one day in advance.
  • Prefer a tighter window? Choose our 1-Hour Delivery service (additional $30) and receive your order within your selected hour.
  • Kindly note that for certain remote locations such as Sentosa Island or Pulau Ubin, an additional delivery fee of $20 will be charged.

How does the delivery process work?

Our delivery partner will contact you before arrival. Orders are delivered to the nearest accessible lift lobby, carpark, or loading area.

Can the chef receive my food for me?

By default, food and chefs arrive separately.

If you wish for your chef to receive the food, please:

  1. Extend the chef’s service time, and
  2. Opt for the 1-hour delivery model so delivery and chef arrival align.

Can I change my delivery time or address?

We’ll try our best to accommodate.

  • Morning slots (10 AM–12 PM): inform us by 6 PM the day before.
  • Afternoon slots (3 PM–7 PM): inform us by 11 AM on the day.

What if I miss my delivery?

If no one is available, our driver may proceed with other deliveries. Re-delivery or waiting charges ($20 per 30 minutes) apply.

Do you collect items after the event?

No — The Smokehouse Collective operates on a drop-and-go model. All items and packaging are disposable or yours to keep.

Chef-On-Site Services

Do you offer BBQ chefs for hire in Singapore?

Yes! The Smokehouse Collective offers Private BBQ Chef Services for your event.


We provide two tiers of chefs depending on your needs:

Classic BBQ Chef – $155 (3 hours)

Suited for casual gatherings and mid-sized events. Your chef handles all the grilling, manages the cooking sequence, and keeps things running smoothly throughout your event.

Signature BBQ Chef – $250 (3.5 hours)

For events where experience at the grill counts. Our Signature Chefs have over 5 years of professional BBQ experience, suited for corporate functions, milestone celebrations, and larger private gatherings.

What’s included in the service?

  • Fire setup and management
  • Cooking of all food ordered from The Smokehouse Collective
  • Coordination of grilling sequence for best results

What tools must I provide?

If you haven’t purchased our BBQ kit, please prepare: charcoal, fire starters, lighter, butter, BBQ tongs, brush, aluminum trays.

What is the chef-to-guest ratio?

1 chef to 20 guests is recommended for efficient service. Larger events may need additional chefs.

What if it rains?

Chefs will continue under sheltered conditions where safe. Completion may be affected; refunds are not issued for weather interruptions.

What if the chef falls sick or can’t attend?

We’ll attempt to assign a replacement. If unavailable, you may reschedule or receive a refund for the chef portion.

Do you offer a BBQ Live Station for events?

Yes — our BBQ Live Station is a live grilling setup managed by our chefs on-site at your event. It's suited for larger gatherings, corporate events, and any occasion where a live cooking element adds to the experience.

Are your chefs The Smokehouse Collective employees?

No — they are independent freelance contractors trained and vetted by us. They are fully responsible for their actions.

What are chefs not responsible for?

  • Serving food or drinks
  • Cleaning pits or trash disposal
  • Coordinating guests or event flow
  • Pre-Setup of the BBQ grill

Do you sell charcuterie boards and sharing platters?

Yes — The Smokehouse Collective offers a range of charcuterie boards, cold cuts platters, and cheese boards assembled and ready to serve. Each platter comes with a curated mix of meats, cheeses, nuts, condiments, and accompaniments depending on the type you choose.

What do you offer?

Our range includes:

  • Meat and cheese platters — our most popular, combining cured meats with a selection of cheeses
  • Cheese boards — for those who prefer a cheese-focused spread. Not sure where to start? The first thing to consider is whether you prefer soft or hard cheeses — we can guide you from there
  • Cold cuts platters — cured and sliced meats
  • Fruit and cheese platters — a lighter option combining fresh fruit with cheese
  • Individual artisanal cheeses — if you'd like to build your own selection, browse our artisanal cheese range including favourites like Garlic Brie, OG Kristal, Truffle Gouda, and Snowdonia.

Can I customise my platter?

Yes — if there are specific cheeses or meats you'd like included or excluded, you can let us know in the Order Special Instructions field at checkout. We'll do our best to accommodate based on availability.

How many people does a platter serve?

Our platters come in different sizes. As a rough guide, the Petite size works well as a starter or side for small groups — if you love your platters, a Petite can also work as a solo indulgence. Larger sizes scale up for groups and events.

Are the platters ready to eat?

Yes — all platters are assembled and ready to eat. No cooking or preparation needed. For best flavour, remove from the fridge about 15–20 minutes before serving.

Can I add a platter to my BBQ order?

Yes — you can add specific sharing platters at checkout alongside your Smokehouse Series order, alongside buying it separately as an ala-carte order. They work well as a pre-BBQ spread or grazing option while the grill gets going.

How should I store the platters?

Keep refrigerated. Consume within 1–2 days of receiving. Remove from the fridge 15–20 minutes before serving.

Where are the platters available?

Our platters are available for island-wide delivery or self-collection at our store at 1 West Coast Drive, NEWest Mall, #01-01.

Can you help me plan my BBQ event?

Yes! Whether it’s a family gathering, birthday, corporate lunch, or wedding, our team can recommend menu combinations, chef allocations, and delivery timings to fit your event.

Do you cater for large-scale or corporate events?

Yes — we provide both drop-off catering and staffed events with multiple chefs and stations.

Do you provide tables, tents, or furniture?

Not by default, but we can connect you with trusted rental partners for tables, tents, or dining setups.

How far in advance should I order?

Same-day delivery is available for most food orders — order as early in the day as possible to confirm availability.

For BBQ chef services, or large-scale and corporate events, we recommend booking at least 7 days in advance to secure your slot.

How much food should I order?

Roughly 500 g of BBQ food per person (250 g meat + 250 g sides). Increase if your event has few side dishes or mostly meat eaters.
